Camp Kitchen Gear for DIY Glamping and Comfortable Tent Camping

Build a reusable camp kitchen for your own glampout, from coffee and hot food to refrigeration and power.

Skip the RV, skip paying for a furnished glampsite, and still eat and drink like you're not roughing it. Our camp kitchen is simple: coffee, hot food, a table, cold food and drinks, and enough power to run it. We use the same gear campground after campground, giving a regular tent site the comforts we want without booking a furnished stay.

Electric Cooking

Cinnamon rolls, Eggos, toast, THC brownies. Hey, we're glampabouting, not going to work.

Coffee

A single-cup K-cup machine makes coffee without loose grounds, filters, or a pot to wash.

Camp Table

The table is the kitchen. Appliances, water, mugs, food, and cleanup all land in one place.

Cold Food & Drinks

A portable refrigerator or cooler keeps the kitchen supplied without depending on an RV refrigerator. See our camping refrigerators.

Power

Toaster ovens and coffee makers draw real power. Use campsite hookup power or a power station sized for the load.

Hookups or Portable Power?

With an electric hookup, we can run the toaster oven, coffee maker and portable refrigerator much like we would at home. Without hookups, what we bring depends on what our power station can handle.

The gear is ours, so it goes with us on the next trip.

Common Questions

How much power does a camp kitchen setup actually use?

A toaster oven and a single-cup coffee maker both draw real power, more than lights or a fan. An electric hookup handles them easily. Running them off a power station means sizing it for that load, not just topping off phones and a fridge.

Do I need propane, or is electric cooking enough?

Depends on the site. At a campground with electric hookups or with a power station sized for it, electric cooking covers toast, reheating, and simple hot food without a propane tank to haul, refill, or store. For longer off-grid stretches, propane still has a place.

Will a toaster oven and coffee maker run off the same power station as everything else?

Only if it is sized for the combined draw. A toaster oven alone can pull more than a fridge and fan combined, so check the station's rated output against the appliance's wattage before assuming it will all run together.

What keeps a camp kitchen from turning into clutter?

One table as the single staging area for appliances, water, mugs, food, and cleanup. Everything has one spot it lands in and comes from, instead of gear scattered across the car, the cooler, and the ground.
